Siesta is an intercultural, multilingual and inclusive poetry festival with authors living in Berlin and writing in Spanish. In collaboration with their German translators, they explore the boundaries of the traditional reading by combining sonic, visual and performative components. Over 2 days, 6 performative readings will allow the text to penetrate the depths of the body.
The stage design consists of 12 white frames installed in six pairs throughout the festival area. Each frame installation represents a pair of performances and in a subtle, abstract way picks up the main topic of their performance.
